Most every business owner is interested in increasing sales and becoming a top competitor in their category. However it is fairly common for those same business owners to not have a plan or strategy to get there.  The fact is you do have a strategy which is to: “try things here and there and hope they increase sales.”

That’s no way to run a business.  For the same reason you wouldn’t go on a long driving trip without a map or plan to get where you wanted to go, you should have a marketing and sales strategy to get your business where you want it to be.

Research is a key component in your strategy.  Understanding the marketplace, your competitors and your customers allows you to create a strategy that has the best chance for success.
